“Creatives seek inspiration,” said Patricia Rendulic, executive director for the Lost Pines Art Center. “Inspiration comes from engagement in arts, interacting with artists, and experimenting with other mediums. Creatives who immerse themselves in learning discover new things about themselves and their art. We have designed this conference to provide that experience.”

The Lost Pines Art League is proud to offer many of the workshops in their brand new 12,000 square foot facility that currently houses galleries, shops and a wine and coffee bar. Other workshops will be held in several locations in historic downtown Bastrop. Bastrop’s Main Street is nestled on the banks of the Colorado River in the heart of the Lost Pines region. It includes a selection of shops, restaurants, and galleries. Bastrop is a National Trust for Historic Preservation Distinctive Destination. There are more than 100 restored historic homes in nearby neighborhoods. “Art in Public Places,” Deep in the Heart Art Foundry and a large art community welcome artists.

Available workshops include:

  • Oil Painting

  • Beginning Watercolor
  • Advanced Watercolor
