Xbox Live Sessions Continues to Pair Impressive Talent with New Xbox Games Featuring Scott Eastwood, Tanner Foust and Josef Newgarden on September 29th and September 30th

Xbox Live Sessions, the interactive livestream hosted on the Mixer Xbox Channel since August, is continuing to keep Xbox fans busy, offering previews of soon-to-be released Xbox games paired with top talent from around the world.

Eastwood, star of the upcoming film Pacific Rim: Uprising, will take a quick break from his busy acting career to play the highly anticipated Xbox One console-exclusive title, Cuphead, from StudioMDHR. Eastwood will play alongside host Major Nelson and creators of Cuphead, Chad and Jared Moldenhauer, on September 29th at 6 p.m. PST. Cuphead, which was inspired by cartoons of the 1930s, features visuals and audio that were painstakingly created with the same techniques of the era. Cuphead is available to the public for purchase that same day.

“It’s so cool to get to be invited to the opening day of a new game,” said Eastwood.  “I’ve been so impressed by how far video games have come in the last decade, can’t wait to check this one out!!!”

“Cuphead is a labor of love we’re excited to release to the world,” said Chad and Jared Moldenhauer. “We can’t wait to meet and play the game with Scott Eastwood to see his and fans reactions.”

Newgarden, who was just crowned IndyCar champion, and Foust, former champion in both Global Rallycross and Formula Drift, will join Xbox Daily Show host Major Nelson and Forza Community Manager, Brian Ekberg in the ultimate racing showdown on Xbox One S broadcast live from the Petersen Automotive Museum on September 30th at 1 p.m. PST. Forza Motorsport 7 arrives worldwide on October 3.

“We are thrilled to have these two special Xbox games Cuphead and Forza Motorsport 7 being featured on Xbox Live Sessions within 24 hours of each other, for fans to get glimpses into their favorite games with such talented guests,” said Aaron Greenberg, GM of Games Marketing at Xbox. “We know that Eastwood, Newgarden and Foust will each bring their A-game to the Xbox Live Sessions.”

Fans will be able to tune-in to both livestreams on Mixer Xbox Channel both hosted by Major Nelson and have the chance to submit questions as well as win prizes. Since its launch in August, Xbox Live Sessions has welcomed top celebrities such as DJ Khaled, Marlon Wayans and James Corden to play newly released titles on Xbox.
