There is a lot more going on beneath the surface in this city, just like there is a lot more beneath the surface of finding success in the film industry.
For people with a desire to be in front of the camera, the likelihood of breaking into the film industry by chance is next to nothing, and the chances of doing so through a talent scouting agency are not much better; this adds so much importance to working hard and earning a relevant degree at a reputable film school.

The list centers around institutions based or having a satellite campus in Los Angeles. Because of the generally high tuition costs, and each school’s star-studded notable alumni, research editor Anne Velusa pinned down more practical data to rank the schools.
Using proven criteria such as freshman retention rate and graduation rate alongside industry-specific factors like course variety and awards earned each school was scored and placed accordingly.
The top spot on the list is held by The Los Angeles Film School. The incredible campus sits right on Sunset Boulevard and encompasses the RCA Building, a historic landmark in the industry.
